Party for a Purpose—Donate Now and Make Plans to Join Us!

It's not just a party—it's Party for a Purpose! The ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose might be the kickoff for the ASCRS Annual Meeting, taking place Friday evening, April 25, but it’s also the ASCRS Foundation’s only dedicated fundraising event of the year.

Donations are already being collected to advance the sight-restoring work of the Foundation. Support your favorite team and their movie theme—you don’t even need to attend to show your support, but we hope you will.

EYEPAC VIP Lunch with Dr. Glaucomflecken

Statement Regarding 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires

Our thoughts are with the many ASCRS members in Los Angeles and surrounding communities who have been affected by the recent wildfires. The Palisades and Eaton Wildfires, as of February, were 100% contained. We recognize the devastation that these fires have caused for both residents and those working in the area.

While ASCRS is not directly collecting relief funds, as this effort has already been established, we do encourage you to consider donating to the Red Cross at redcross.org and selecting to dedicate your gift to “California Wildfires.”

ASCRS maintains its commitment to bringing the world-class ASCRS Annual Meeting, April 25–28, to downtown Los Angeles, which was spared the direct, physical impact of the recent fires. In doing so, ASCRS and its attendees are proud to play a small part bolstering the city economically at a time when it faces a significant economic recovery effort.
